We provide dedicated servers with unlimited technical support for all our Linux and Unix servers. There is no added charge or hidden costs for technical support and is part of our value added services.
Being able to administer a dedicated server on your own will always be faster since you can do it yourself and the experience gained from learning how to resolve an issue can be rewarding in itself. However, even experienced administrators need assistance or even suggestions now and then and we are here to help either it be performing the task ourselves or providing some assistance. Please note, that depending on the task it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the work involved. It is always highly recommended to install a web based control panel such as Cpanel or Plesk to assist in the simplifying and automation of basic (or even complex) administrative tasks.
If you do not have much experience in running a dedicated server it is highly recommended to install a web based control panel. Prices are very reasonable and the most popular is Cpanel/WHM. Others include Direct Admin, Webmin, Plesk, WebSitePanel etc. Some of them are even free. As promised, we provide unlimited technical support for your dedicated server or VPS account but we are mostly familiar with Cpanel and Plesk. We cannot guarantee 100% knowledge of every feature in the numerous other control panels available. If you have a control panel in mind and might need help installing it, please just tell us so we can take a look first and then let you know if we can install it for you.
Technical Issues we Provide Help on
Some of the technical issues we can assist you with would be server outages, DNS setup and propagation, mounting secondary hard drives, software or script installation, networking issues etc. We will even install some security software free of charge if you are having trouble with “bad guys” (link goes to our blog) out there on the Internet just wanting to do harm on your server or website. Most server owners unfortunately wait until bad things happen to the server and we try our best to patch things up for you but the best solution is to prevent it from happening in the first place. A one time fee is a small amount to pay for a good nights sleep!
