Online PR News – 10-April-2013 – Hosting And Designs L.L.C. – a low cost dedicated server provider with DDoS protection, announced today the availability of unmetered traffic servers for their dedicated server line on April 10th. These dedicated servers will be on a 1Gbps port which is currently available on certain server configurations. Other dedicated server configurations are possible on a per request basis and if the hardware is available and in stock. Hosting And Designs L.L.C. is offering these 200TB dedicated servers as the growing need for large amounts of traffic is on the rise and clients do not want to be concerned with unexpected traffic charges at the end of each month. This way clients can focus on their own day to day operations and run their server as they need with all the traffic they require.
Regardless if the client goes over the 200TB of allotted monthly traffic there will not be any extra traffic charges on the account.
These unmetered traffic servers are located St. Louis Missouri. The Data Center is over 30,000 sq. ft. It will have over 50,000 sq. ft. for expansion space available in the near future and will be SSAE 16 compliant. They are using a fiber optic network which means 1G, 10G, 40G & 100G multi-circuits running over leased fiber directly connected to New York City and New Jersey carriers. Hosting And Designs L.L.C. offers high-quality traffic/bandwidth while operating in a multi-carrier network in St. Louis Missouri. Pricing is competitive without sacrificing bandwidth and traffic speeds or quality.
Unmetered Traffic Server Options
There will initially be two dedicated server offerings each with 200TB monthly traffic. The cheapest server configuration an Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 for $129 per month. The faster Intel Skylake Core i7-6700k goes for $179 per month. These servers have upgraded 1Gbps ports instead of the standard 100Mbps ports such as on regular servers. They also come with 10GB backups and basic Cisco DDoS Guard protection at the network level and full root access.
Dedicated servers with lower specs are available on the unmetered line but are usually not recommended. This is because a true unmetered server provider will need to set up servers that have fast enough hardware. This includes CPU horsepower and RAM to handle the large amounts of traffic coming in and out of the server. These unmetered dedicated servers still come with 24/7 unlimited technical support and many value-added services.
